FORGIVE ME

Forgive me if my heart errs you

If my soul is rife with jealousy

If my eyes set upon your countenance

With joy at your beauty

Forgive me, if I long to hold you

If my wings are free from deceit

If I can’t help but stare lovely

Into those two inlets to your soul

Forgive me, if I lose it sometimes

If I seem wild

It’s the joy of your melody

Sweeping me off my feet

Forgive me, if some things I can’t do

If my strength tends to fail you sometimes

If I’m losing everything

Just to find you

Forgive me, for I am only human

And i fall in love

And if that is my only crime

Forgive me then, for I love you

SWEET INDULGENCE

I will not want to indulge

In the pains

Of unpleasant recollections

As regards our connection

I will not want to reside

In the ominous danger

Whose antecedent

Is the hard emotions resident

I will not want to fall

To the cataclysmic trails

Of a path, numbly assembled

With thorns, like roses resembled

I will not want to be

The author of the love

That never came to a notice

Even if my book is

I will want to indulge

In all the delights

Of pleasant recollections

As regards our connection.
